Burial at Sea

I've always found something beautiful and melancholy about the fall here in central Ohio. The vivid colors on the trees are breathtaking, but all of the leaves soon fade into their brown funeral attire. This one has been set adrift for a far-off resting place, in the arms of the river.

I love writing stuff like that. I also loved doing this shoot at the creek. The water was clearer than it had been in months, and it was really beautiful.
